Intended use
Our Products are intended for research and development in laboratory settings. The Products should not be considered consumer goods, toys or hobby equipment.
Early Access
The Products marked as Early Access are Products that are still under development but can already be purchased by Early Adopter Customers for testing. Early Access Products are fully functional as per their specifications but might still have limited durability and/or software support, compared to the final Product. Early Adopter Customers who have purchased Early Access Products get access to their potential future upgrades: software upgrades shall be provided free of charge, discounted pricing shall be offered for hardware upgrades.
Payment & Lead Time
Unless agreed otherwise, we require a 50% prepayment to confirm the order and the final 50% within 2 weeks after the Products are received by the Customer. Title to the Products shall remain vested in Flapper s.r.o. and shall not pass to the Customer until the purchase price for the Products has been paid in full and received by Flapper s.r.o.
Our preferred mode of payment is bank transfer in EUR.
The typical lead time of Products, which are not in stock and which are manufactured on demand, is 2-4 weeks from receiving the prepayment, unless agreed otherwise.
Shipping, Import & Duty
We provide the Customer with a link to the tracking service when the Products are shipped. It is the responsibility of the Customer to follow the shipping process and provide the carrier or customs with any information, which might be needed for clearing the parcel, in a timely manner. Too long delays in doing so may result in the shipment being sent back to Flapper s.r.o.
The Products shall be shipped from within the Czech Republic. The Customer is responsible for any VAT, duty fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing the ordered Products.
Warranty
We offer a 1-year warranty for manufacturing defects. Should you experience a malfunction of the product due to manufacturing issues we shall replace it, or supply a suitable replacement part for the affected component with replacement instructions. We shall only replace products or parts that are unused, unless if usage is required to identify the manufacturing defect.
Since our products are meant for research and development they are supplied without a fully enclosed casing. This enables easy access to the on-board electronics but makes it more vulnerable to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) damage, thus, appropriate measures should be taken when handling the electronics. Any damage due to ESD is not covered by this warranty.
Operation of our products requires drone piloting skills. Even in cases, where we agree to provide an initial training, it is up to the Customer to ensure that the product is operated by appropriately trained personnel. By no means does this warranty cover any damage caused by improper manipulation or operation, such as due to crashes.
